Senior Account Manager/Conceptioner & Strategist (w/m/d)

Our client is an international PR and advertising agency with agencies in over 80 countries on 5 continents. The global agency network pursues a 360° integrated communications approach and offers services in all areas of communications. Your responsibilities:

  • Conception of creative campaigns and communication strategies for clients from the fields of politics, nation branding, business and media from the German and international markets

  • Lead a team of 6 to 8 conceptioners & strategists

  • Liaise with mc Group´s staff and other external stakeholders to develop and implement a robust communication strategy

  • In charge of the whole tendering process, from the identification of the business opportunity to the submission of the proposal

  • Coordinate priorities and resources among multiple projects

  • Ensure high quality of all communication strategies developed for the tender processes.

  • Preparing workplans and budgets, and supporting the bid team in the development of proposals

  • Compile proposal documents in a structured format as per the standards of the tendering institution in a timely manner

  • Report directly to the CEO

Your profile:

  • At least a bachelors´ degree in communication, marketing, public relations or journalism
  • Over 4 years of experience delivering successful bids or experience in account management in contexts relevant to mc Group or PR
  • Comprehensive experience and understanding of the Bid Management process (preferably at the international level) would be an asset
  • Strong, professional bid/account management skills
  • The ability to successfully manage a team 
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to deal with partner agencies, our network, suppliers and other parts of the business (stakeholder management skills).
  • A positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal skills 
  • An ability to successfully manage change in a fast-paced environment
  • You have excellent English written and spoken skills. German is considered an asset.
